Polish War dead remembered

In the churchyard of St Michael’s there are 13 Polish war graves from the Second world War. In the past Polish families have come and lit small candles in jars to commemorate them. ¬† As a mark of respect to them it was decided to fly a Polish flag on All Saints Day to recognise their¬† sacrifice. The Polish embassy provided the flag and so this year the flag was flown as a small tribute to them.
