Very early on in this process(February 2017) our MP David Lidington secured a meeting with the Defence Minister – Mark Lancaster. In that meeting we asked and discussed some real topics.

Firstly we asked to treated as a Key Stakeholder

We mentioned that we were lacking various community assets as a result of having the whole Rothschild estate sold to the War Department in 1919 in total. Therefore we were missing key facilities eg a village green, a playing field and so on.

We expressed a desire to help protect and nurture an RAF legacy in Halton.

The attached letter from Mark Lancaster to David LidingtonĀ  establishes that we are seen as a key stakeholder.
