Christmas really started on Sunday 18th December when about 70 people were summoned to Church to the sound of the Church bells for the annual service of Nine Lessons and Carols to celebrate the nativity.
The Church was beautifully decorated and we were treated to lovely singing by the choir and to the hand bells being rung by a group of villagers.
The congregation who were in full voice enjoyed a welcome cup of coffee and mince pie after the service.
Many thanks to all those involved in the organisation of the service.
A true Halton tradition
