We will soon be entering the annual Best Kept Village Competition in which we have been successful in the past. To help us achieve another good result this year, we are holding a village clean-up on the morning of Saturday, May 20th. We would welcome as many villagers as possible to help at this event. Please bring your own gloves and tools. Rubbish bags will be provided and may be collected from the village hall from 9.30am
If you are unable to make event, we urge you to tidy up your own 'patch' so that the whole village is looking its best for the judging during June and early July. It would also be appreciated if the village could continue to look nice for the Open Gardens Day to be held on July 9th and then for the rest of the summer.
